Lost again is a collaboration between Thomas Wrobel and Bertine van Hövell. We like designing things both silly and profound.

History

Early history

Lost again started in 2009 as a company working on educational games, media productions and web architecture. We did contract work for various companies and educational institutes while developing our own tech for our game productions. We were also involved with developing early Augmented Reality standards. Meanwhile we developed small joke productions and in 2014 we launched the 'fanficmaker.com', a website that generates terrible stories inspired by the best fanfiction out there.

After that

Small joke productions became larger and more ambitious, so we choose to work on our own fully independent game. Having experienced how important it is to have well-developed technology and gameplay design before starting on anything else, we split our indieproject into two parts. The first part focuses on finalizing the tech and interface. The second part becomes a fully developed adventure game. However, for the first part we still needed some game to test, experiment and present our technology and gameplay on. Thus, 'Meryll wants a Cookie' was born.

The future

Sadly two creators became one, but the dream of making an adventure game with sophisticated systems remained. And so Frayed Freedom was born.
